Does anyone happen to know what the resistance value should be, approximately, for a temperature sender, measured across the stud on the sender to a good ground? Cold coolant. This is a 73 Dart, 225 /6.
Up to temp should be 230 to 250 ohmsIt would be interesting to put that in boiling water and measure again.
Good thread from FBBO.Around 300 ohms but they seem to vary a lot plus the gauge may not be accurate and the wiring suspect. More info:440 temperature sensor
