Thanks for letting me join. I just moved to Tennessee to retire a year ago. ASE Mastertech that has done a lot of classic car work in the past.

I am doing a swap from a 318 w/904 to a 318 with a 833 4 speed in a 1963 Dart GT. Was a 335 w/ 3-speed new. Someone put a 67 318 with a 904 in it, going back to a manual trans. Wondering if I could of gotten the wrong flywheel for the car. 10.5 inch flywheel , put a 10.5 clutch kit in it, but the starter won't bolt up. I tried original & gear reduction. Looks like flywheel is about 1/2 inch to large in diameter. Please look at my pictures and give me an opinion. Thanks. Nose piece won't go around the ring gear.

Probably a 9 1/2 bell housing. Decision time. Run a 10 in clutch from Brewers Performance or swap a later 10.5 bellhousing and the special linkage to make it work, also from Brewers.
