69 340 4 spd Swinger. Have owned it for 10 yrs. Father had it for 5 yrs before that. I was 1st to put the old girl back on the rd since 73. Had been setting in garage w original blown 340 reading 40k on odometer. Now has 55k
This will be the fourth summer for the car since the new 340 went in. Like most there's always something you are mucking with or improving. I would also like to thank all the knowledgeable members on this forum for the wealth of information that is always available.

my 1969 dart swinger 340 ! just finished 6/13 first in class at the all chryslers at carlisle 7/13... 1960 thru 1969 a-body modified ! all original sheet metal factory 4-sp 3.91s large bolt pattern, tti exhaust, mildly built, "68" 340 !!! thanks for looking !!!
Here's mine. Picture 1, is when I first bought it.
Picture 3, is after paint, still needing strips, and some other parts such as glass and bumpers, put back on. But I put it in storage until spring.

Glad you were able to keep it in the family. It's impressive just how much more the green you chose 'pops' out at you than the original did. I'm not usually a die hard restorer for reasons like that. As cool as the car may have been originally, it's much prettier now.
