The cluster is out, you won't believe what I found

-
Well, geez. if you would have hung in there we probly could have helped you

"Key points."

All of it comes down to the harness connector and ground

If the board(s) is/are grounded to the cluster body, or at least grounded to each other, AND grounded to the car, that part is DONE

If the connector pins have been properly fixed.

========================================

At this point some simple tests with multimeter, test light, a battery can help you through this

If you look, you can FOLLOW the board traces from each connector pin to where they go.

The connectors themselves are "pinout" in the factory diagrams.

"Some examples."

One pin of the connector goes on a trace over to the fuel gauge sender. That is one trace, and that is the ONLY place it goes

Another pin goes ONLY to the temp gauge sender terminal. Again, one trace, one destination.

The left turn connector pin goes to the left indicator bulb......one trace.......one place

Ditto the right turn bulb

Ditto the high beam indicator

The dash illumination lights vary "as to number" over the years, and go to "several" of the bulbs.

The PC board can be corroded / filmed over where the bulb sockets go

The bulb sockets can be corroded, weak / bent springs, etc

The bulbs can be bad.

You just need to take "one thing at a time."

==========================================

If you could / would have posted a nice big closeup of the cluster we can easily guide you through. These boards are not rocket science.

As an example, a photo I found "on the net"

Look at the area circled. You can see the trace goes only from the left hand connector pin to that stud. You'll have to turn the panel over to see which gauge, but this pin can only be one thing..............a gauge sender connection

Then all you have to do is get out the service manual and justify the physical to the wiring
