I recently purchased a 65 Dart that the previous owner started modifying but left unfinished. It has 74 Charger spindles and new calipers and hoses. I noticed that when I turn the wheel all the way left/right that the brake hose hits the control arm. I suspect that he didn't use the correct parts. Any advice how to confirm the correct parts for this conversion?

Are the calipers to the front or the rear?

Here’s what DoctorDiff recommends...

Caliper/hose fitment:

Rear mount ('72 and older A bodies, '69 and older B-bodies):
Use '80 and newer slider calipers and '69 Camaro disc brake hoses

Front mount ('73 and newer A bodies, '70-'72 B-bodies and all E-bodies):
Use '79 and older slider calipers and '73 Mopar A-body disc brake hoses

The calipers mounted towards the front, or the rear?
Makes a difference for hoses, used, needed.

(0ops, somebody faster than me, on the keyboard.)
