My Brother and I found a really old Sears Roebuck pocket catalog that advertised a "Colt Peacemaker" 45cal for $3.50 (three dollars and fifty cents)

I called Sears and told them I had a rain check.:D

They also had minibikes, when I was a kid, I lusted after one.

i remember being a kid, 4, 5 years old and my granddad would babysit me and my sister sometimes
to make sure we went straight to sleep he would give each of us a shot of jenever....i think it is like absinthe?
 
Sears sold everything from houses to garages and even farm equipment. There was not a thing they didnt sell. Sad to see the internet has killed them.
