After 34 years 6 months and 14 days I have retired from my current job at the age of 75 years old. I stayed because I loved the challenge of the work and the satisfaction derived from it. Time to turn the page and move on to the next thing which includes my current build on my rotisserie.

CONGRATULATIONS on your retirement!!!
You earned it. Now get to work on your current rotisserie build!

I hope you enjoy retirement as much as I do. If I would have known it was this much fun, I would have started sooner!

Congratulations! That's fantastic that you found something you loved for so long. So many people aren't as fortunate.

Congratulations and best wishes as you move into what I hope is the most enjoyable time of your life.

Impressive! And it looks like your still in great shape

Thanks 360---I have two metal knees and a bad back but I think I can finish my current build with the rotisserie and a body cart. It's just hard to get up and down from the floor.
Thanks for the acknowledgement Rusty. I have been blessed with the passion to design/build from a young age. It's like playing real world Legos with other peoples money. The pressure comes from having to deliver faultless results on budget. Some tough days for sure!

Congrats on the retirement!
Getting up of floor...I text the wife to come out, hook by belt to the engine hoist...it works. But she is getting tired of pushing the hoist around.

A life well lived if you enjoy your work, and get paid for it, congratulations.. retirement is a beautiful thing if your ready for it. Enjoy your free time to get into your build, lets see some photos along the way.

Congratulations on your retirement... it was well earned! Go enjoy your
new project build, and also enjoy your life.

If you ever thought about a career change, now's the time.
You look good enough for another 10 years.

Congratulations, you've definitely earned a great retirement, looking forward to seeing the progress on your Cyclone

Hello this evening, and congratulations sir
Looking forward to you coming up projects that you find to keep you busy

Maybe I need back to work???? Anyone need a 74 yr old with blown out knees short of breathe, and clogged up arteries?? I'm good till a knee folds up and I fold up. P,S, I work cheap (compared to the new kid at Micky :poke::wtf::thumbsup::thankyou:D's).......

Congratulations on your retirement.

You look damn good for 75!
