But it might have been cool if they had. What do you think?

Think they are cool. Not sure how useful, load capacity, "rough use" etc.

Personally I would love to see a nice boxy 69 Valiant Wagon..

If this would have been built for the U.S. market it would have had the same problem as the A body wagon......its too small.

To compete with the rachero or El Camino, i would have had to have been a B body. A Belvepickup.

The valiant is a cool car but it is a compact car of its times. In the late 60s, sales were way higher on the bigger cars

Either way, i would drive a valiant pickup....maybe with a topper

They did build a 69 Valiant wagon down under.

I almost bought one

We got the Rampage, quitcherbitchin.

I fancy a valiant wagon convertible, m'self.

I've seen the Aussie cars, but the styling is different. I want one with the 69 Valiant front end, and nice slabbed/boxy styling in the back to match. If I was a bajillionaire, I'd have one built. Sadly I'm just a couple thousandaire.

I like it (the OP). The back of the roof blends in nice, not chopped off looking like the Aussie models.
