The passing of my Grandma 9-14-09

-
A prayer for you and yours...we just last week had a birthday party for my aunt in Ontario...she turned 95 and still going strong, and then this past Saturday laid my Aunt Joan to rest at 83...

Sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences to you and your family. It sounds like she was one cool grandma.

My grandma turned 90 this year. Unfortunately she had to go into a home. She's a diabetic and it's really starting to wear her down, but her mind is still sharp. I still remember as a wee lad all the blasts she would take me in her '66 Buick Skylark that my grandpa dropped a Buick Wildcat motor into. 100 mph is a rush for a little kid! Grandma's ROCK!!! I should go visit her soon.

Again, my condolences. I'll be praying for you.

My condolences, she sounds like a wonderful woman who made your life that much better.

Sorry to hear about your Grandmother GTS340. She obviously lived a good life to see that age....and she put Mopar in your blood. That was a special lady!

The picture of your grandmother says it all. You can see the joy of living and loving in her eyes for everything God has given her to enjoy. She was truly blessed and it shows. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family to enjoy the memories she has given you to remember her by, and know that she is in good hands. God bless you and your family!!

Thanks again guys. I'm starting to feel a little better tonight. It's been a long day and I've been up since two am so I'm exhausted. I have been expecting her to die for the past three weeks, but you can never prepare enough. I've spent all day over at her (and my mothers) house, so it made it bittersweet.

Not many people of that era that knew how to live life to the fullest, sounds like she was one of the rare one's. Sorry for you and your family, but happy to hear that you had someone like your Grandmother to have such a positive influence on your life. I'm sure she'll be greatly missed by all who knew her. Kev

A true Mopar girl, and almost 101 at that! My deepest condolences and sympathies go out to your and your family. We all know she'll be side steppin the clutch to the top of Heaven in no time.
