The Shepherd -Christmas story with airplanes.

This is a link to an audio reading of a Christmas story called The Shepherd that they play every Christmas eve on CBC radio. I really enjoy it, and any of you military guys or aviation fans may appreciate it also.
It is about 30 minutes long, but it worth listening to.

I remember the story, must have read it as a child (of course, I remember it in Dutch, I rarely read in English for pleasure)

For some reason I thought it was written by Roald Dahl

Perhaps because he has written about his airforce career flying gladiators and hurricanes
