I should probably be committed in some kind of mental asylum as soon as possible.... :lol:

I've been hangin around the "trailer trash" again. Found this sitting between two trailers in a trailer park collecting tree stuff. Wiped off a little of the crud and seen that it's not nearly as bad as it looks. Everything is there and pretty straight for what it is and it's age. The price was very decent, so my mind went into convulsions and the $$$ came out of my pocket.

Now my problem is..........where the hell am I gonna find parts for it????????????:rofl:

Super solid, my mother slammed my left hand in the right rear door of that car when I was 4. lol. It’s was light creamy yellow colour, the car not my hand…

If you don’t find what you’re looking for parts wise just change your view and maybe look over your right shoulder instead of the left…..
 
My first problem would be where do I keep it.

So there is this GUY up near your neck of the woods, he's done a great job of coming up with parts over the years for our A-bodies even going so far as to reproducing a LOT of stuff no one else wants to touch 'cause you know... a-body.

Seriously glad for you to have picked up and committed to save another project and MANY THANKS for what you've done over the years to help this hobby out.

Well, Rick, if you can't find parts for it, we are all in trouble. Don't you have a rolodex with contacts?
I personally like 4 doo cars. You don't see them as much. Make it purty.

Wow, that car is a dead ringer for the 65 Dart 270 4 dr that my parents bought new! I was 9 at the time... It was their first a body Dodge - the first of 3 and Dad sure was pissed when they stopped making them at the end of the 76 model year. The second one is the Dart in my avatar.

Pulled all that stinky old carpet and padding out expecting to see pavement, but all I seen was some surface rust. When I get a chance to get the seats out of the car, I think a wire brush on my angle grinder will clean it up enough to get a good heavy coat of POR-15 down.

I did find the two oval body plugs for the firewall down in the cushions of the front bench seat, a bunch of arm rest base screws, window hardware, arm rest bases and pads, and some other little odds and ends. It does look like the only part I do need to get fairly soon is an air cleaner for the mighty Holley one-barrel.

So I feel pretty good about the whole thing so far......because I don't think I'm going to be doing any welding on this car......
