I am sure this must be a ultra rare early 426 Hemi part that is worth hundreds..... right ???
I have no idea....At first I thought it looked like a windage tray of some kind... but now... well.. I gots no clue. It came with a "lot" of other Mopar engine items I picked up. If you know what it is...by all means.. educate me !
If its something you need.... just offer a lot of money for it !!

It's a tray that goes undernreath the intake manifold on a small block, to keep hot oil off the bottom & give you a colder intake charge.

I'll be...... I never seen one... I thought it looked like it should sit in the intake valley but wasnt sure..... now... how the heck do the lower bands work? or mount ?

The "bands" are just springs & they should be sprung against the manifold, to keep the tray in place. personally I wouldn't use one of these. just more bolts inside the engine to come loose & cause damage.
