Was digging around old service manuals and found my Challenger Owners Manual with some other miscellaneous paperwork. Some of us remember reading our new car owners manual in 15 minutes or so. It was so simple then. A whole 65 pages in the '71 Challenger Manual versus 276 in the '02 Durango Manual.
LOL, I never did completely read my Durango Manual, or the '05 Ram and '08 Sebring. I just look for the items needed now.
Does anyone even read these anymore?

Best thing is the older books gave you info you actually needed not just a bunch of lawyer warnings in 3 different languages.

Found it interesting that my 2009 Challenger SRT8 Owner's Manual has 426 pages...
Then there is also the NAVIGATION User's Manual with 199 pages...

Have I read them all... Hells NO!!!

Now my 1965 Plymouth Valiant Barracuda's manual has 40 pages... And I've read it many times...
