it's a 1975 318 car. it's nice but nothing special. some of these guys think it's a big block B body with the prices they ask. it's an 8,000 dollar car all day

With the limited pics. I'm gonna be generous in my opinion at 10k
As mentioned its a 75 318 car. Altho it is nice!
Buckets? Console? 4spd?
Ebay will tell you what its worth in the real world

It's not as much about what we think it's worth but what the market thinks it's worth. We buy these cars at bargain prices because we're in the hobby. A E-bay sale to a guy that see's the car and likes it or maybe had one when he was in high school will pay more. Here's a place on my route that sells these kinds of cars. Most are not as nice as this one but they get good money out of them. I would consider this "real world retail". We buy wholesale most of the time.

I haven't sold a thing on eBay to anyone in the U.S. In awhile. All of my motors in the last year went overseas. If you are going there open your market up and be prepared to ship international. Those folks have cash and will use it to buy what they want. Mine will be in eBay in the spring...timing....not many folks are buying hot rods in the winter. Some are getting a check in April.

Bench seat, column shift, nice interior? everything works? Nice paint.
Plan to get $8500 - $10,500.

Nice car by the way.

Nice car, yes. But value is tied to desireability and what the seller put into it means nothing to me as a buyer. Post '73 are much less desireable to the general public, and a 318 is ho-hum. I think it will struggle to get more than $8K. If I was shopping, or able to buy, I wouldn't be looking to spend more than $6K.

I find people's evaluations seem to be way low on FABO. I don't know where people are finding gem 70 340 4 spd cars by the dozens that they can evaluate a car like this so low.

I asked the value of my real swinger 340 4 spd car once and was getting ridiculous replies like 14-16k... I sold the car for 26k. You're car is worth much more than the suggested 6-8thousand. Just ridiculous. If you have a rust free car it's worth minimum 10k. with the cost of auto body work these days you can be onto a car 20-25k just getting it painted. Add in the other 20 thousand for mechanical and interior then you're into a car for 45 grand. How could this guys car not be worth 15-16 grand..... all this is IMHO

The quality looks really good. Without seeing the interior it's hard to say but I know what it cost to build:) too bad they don't translate. The right guy will pay 10+ for that car. The wheels rock BTW.

The excuse that it's a 73 and later car won't have much of an impact anywhere outside of "The Mopar Ring". Some guy, or gal, just getting into Mopar may fall in love with it. On Fabo and other places, it's driven into the masses that only 70-72 cars are cool. Ya whatever, believe it if you like.......a lot like current politics.......but outside the circle of lifetime believers, many people like these cars and don't care if it isn't the coveted one. You gotta remember, not everyone wants a car just like the next guys. 71 Darts and Demons being perfect examples, they are so "cool" you can't find a 72 anymore because they have all been cloned to 71's. Put it out there for sale, Ebay, Craiglist, whatever, you may be surprised that somebody will pay good money for a nice, "finished", ready to drive car.
That's my 21 cents worth. :)

That's a minimum of a 15 grand Canadian car around here if it's as good as it looks in the pictures.

a bone stock 1975 318 duster is not worth 15 grand. that's just bullshit. if you find that one guy who will pay 26 grand for a 340 swinger , you found a guy with money falling out of his ***. what people are saying and asking for dusters and are actually getting are 2 different things entirely. like my opinion says , it's a nice car but unless someone just has money to blow , plan on 8 to 8.5 k. there are people out there with money to burn and will pay more but plan on holding out for a while
