I am looking at the MRG 1121G,so I was wondering if you use a thinner head gasket what about the intake seal?

dont use an intake seal...use RTV

I'm sorry I meant will the intake seal to the heads alright? I've always heard if you surface a lot off the heads, take some off the intake surface of them too,so if you use a gasket that is .020 thinner do you have to do something different for intake gaskets?

mock it up....put the head gaskets on....set the heads on it....set the intake on...and see how the holes line up.....

I use the mr gasket think gaskets at .028 and I had absolutely no.problem sealing my intake. I would think if you didn't go radical on planing the heads you should be fine. Remember to use rtv in the corners.

BUT............has anything else been cut or milled....

have the heads been cut or has the block been decked?....you dont know....

Mock it up........

Always mock it up/ dry fit every new part. saves you in the end. MT:burnout:
