Hey this is the standard 904 tf from the 60's right?

looks like it to me. Also my 67 904 won't work with newer torque convertors - inner spline is 18 spline and smaller than on newer 904s
 
Can't tell year from that angle but, Yeah, it's a 904. Looks to be a linkage V8 type.
 
Yes its got the v8 linkage it came off of my 318. I was just curious to see if this a tranny from the same time period. heres another picture

If it has a single wire neutral safety, it's an early '68 or older.....otherwise it will have a 3 wire one. The number stamped into the driver's side pan rail will narrow it down a lot more. If you can read it, post it here and we'll tell you what it says.
