I got the same email several times last summer, and I simply laughed it off and ignored it until it got on my nerves... as luck would have it, my son is a certified ethical "white hat" hacker for a large international aerospace corporation. He was able to find out that the sender got the passwords used in the scammers threats from an old LinkedIn hack from 2016. He also was able to determine the senders ISP and approximate location. He forwarded the message and security details to the ISP and I haven't heard anything since. Beware of scammers!
