What block are the producing John?
Keith Black and in this case a guy was looking for a used 440 water block. This guy chimed in and said if he didn’t find a used one he could fix him up.
My buddy at Bowman Performance is doing a Keith Black Hemi block build for a customer. Good to hear blocks are getting easier to get.

I'm guessing much stronger than a standard block for sure.

I’m thinking mine took 6-8 months back around 2007 when things were good at Keith Black. Then things went sound for many many years. New owners joined in and it took awhile to get things turned around.
They are beautiful and very strong. I hugged mine on my tailgate while sipping an adult beverage when I got mine home. Mines just sitting here doing nothing after several 8.40@160mph passes and a broken oil line. (Wreck).
That’s killer John! I can’t help but to ask. Do you think you may put that aluminum idol in your duster someday? Or, I don’t know, if I had it, I’d be springing for one of these…

I just talked to Tim Banning from "For Hemis Only" yesterday about head gaskets for a Keith Black block. He said he sold 14 of these blocks the other week. He has a bunch of them in stock he said, including wedge blocks, not just Hemis. It seems they are available, like you said John, if its true.
It’s in there buddy and has been but I struggle trying to keep up with my black duster, yard work, cooking, shopping, presently my daily drivers are beating me up keeping them on the road, and a side job here and there. My black duster spoils me so bad as it’s so easy to race. I’ll go 5-10 races without taking the hood off at the track. Not sure what I’ll do.
