Thoughts on this more door...

Thinking I may go pick this up. Its about 2 hours away, talked to the guy and said 1000 is best he will do. Runs, drives, floors are good,ugly as sin, etc.

What do ya'll think? Dont need it but a couple weeks of work and I could be driving it while I finish the Scamp I was thinking.

Anyone tow a rear wheel drive with a dolly?

For what you want to do with it, why not buy it?
If you are towing with a dolly, you just need to take the drive shaft off.
I've done it lots of times...........

Take the drive shaft off the axle and use a coat hanger to tie it up to the muffler hanger and use a bungie or wire to tie the front of it to the trans so it can't slide out.

If you are going to rent a dolly at u-haul. the full trailer is only $10 more. Drive it up and go....

Yup, it's a more door. Fresh paint on a car for sale is not something I look for (actually its something I usually RUN from), but for $1k it'd be hard to go too far wrong.

If you're renting that dolly I'm with krazykuda, just rent a full trailer. So much easier. Dolly's work, but, they're a pain.
