throttle cable

this may be a dumb question, but its worth asking. i did a slant six to 360 swap in my duster. i used the /6 throttle cable. is it the same as the v8 cable? its a lot longer but i was wondering if it allowed for enoughh travel. ive had it on for awhile, it works sorta ok but i had to jimmy rig it to work. and i also dont tink its allowing the carb to fully open to w.o.t

Yest the throttle cables are different. The V8 throttle cable will show only about 11 inches of sheathe outside the firewall in a inverted S like route.
