Guess it's time to join FEBO too. I've been looking for another car for a little while and had it narrowed down, I thought, to a really nice '68 Satellite. Came across this Challenger though and decided to make an offer. It was accepted on Thursday, and we finalized the paperwork this morning. Just waiting on the money to clear now. It's a '71 with 51k miles, 318-2bbl, 904 auto, ps and pb. Those are vintage Fenton Super Shark wheels (deep dish 14x8's in the back, wonder if you can still find L60-14's anywhere?). It supposed to be a one repaint car and the build sheet comes with the paperwork. Other than that, I haven't seen the car in person yet, should have it back to Texas in a week or two (it's currently in Atlanta). Looking forward to getting her here and doing some economical cruising.

Very nice! E bodies are a lot of fun to drive and this one looks like a good one. tmm

dam u still have a line on that satellite? I haven't seen a nice 1 of those since I was 16 0r 17 . a friend of mine had a brite red with a 383 4 speed and it rocked and another favorite was the belvedere I think it was a 65 0r 67 I was so young then ,it was earley 70s and my neighbors dad had it in his shop in the barn I still remember the faded green with a black vynal top . He took us for a ride 1 day I was aboput 8 0r 9 and this lady was raking her ditch up, and he said heres a little rolling thunder , and yanked it back into 2nd gear and my little 60 pound *** was sucked clkear down in that back seat I had a smile 3 miles wide , and that lady came 3 feet off the ground and threw here rake in the air and tripped was so loud ,WE WERE GONE wow what a kewl memory you gave me back . I luv your new car . I hope its all you hoped it will be .
very pretty too

FEBO is a lot slower paced but seems like a pretty nice group. Welcome to the E-body world :)

Thanks y'all! I think she's going to be fun. Be a nice break from a hyper big block A body for sure. Already ordered the Vintage Air A/C kit for her, and got some '71 Texas tags too.

Winston, the Satellite is a small block car also, but is very clean. No rust at all, bright red paint, black cloth stock interior. It's sitting on the new school Ansen aluminum slots. Nice car overall.

Congrats! Nice car. Yeah the L 14's are getting close to impossible to find from what I've seen. At least the're 8's, maybe some alternatives. Some guys that have 14x9 slots are pretty much Chit out of luck.

Wanna sell the Scamp?:D
Not really, but since I have no place to store it, I'll probably have to. I took her down to Streetside in Fort Worth this morning to let them consign it for me. Figured I give them a try and see what happens. If I can find a decent deal on a shop close to the house, she's coming back home though!

NICE CAR. My boss just sold his 70 Challenger R/T. Sad to see it go.

Nice lookin car! Good luck on the L 60 14s. I looked for an hour with no luck. Coker doesn't even offer them. Now if you go to 15s you can still get N 50 15s, but they ain't cheap.

I found a "vintage" set of Goodyear Polyglass L60-14's on Ebay. Seller says they are cracked, but do hold air. Hell, they look brand new in the pics. Couldn't drive on them, and he's asking $500 for the pair. Freakin' ridiculous.

Shipper dropped her off about an hour ago. Pretty clean car overall, but not nearly as clean as the Scamp. Definitely more of a project car, but still a very nice driver in the mean time. There were two big boxes of stuff in the trunk, and it's obvious that this was a girls car previously. Custom painted front plate with a purple rose and Plum Crazy lettering, purple fuzzy dice that light up (might have to keep these, LOL!) and a tiny mirrored disco ball were my first clues. It also came with new weatherstripping, a new front plate bracket, a box full of small parts (screw kits, ashtrays, lighters, panel fasteners, stuff like that) and the remainder of the paint and reducer used for the paint job. A lot more than I bargained for, to be sure. Doesn't sound like a 318 2bbl either. It has dumped Flowmasters at the axle, with huge tips on them, and it is freaking loud. I'll try to get a video this weekend.

Anywho, here's a couple of pics to get things started -
