You don't have that thing painted yet??? lol!! Just pulling your leg, I like the hood hinges...looks hitech.

No Need to scam it, I could send you the solid part file. BTW I'm back onboard with Shawn. He contacted me and we worked it out, so I should have a new rendering soon.

Thanks for the offer of the file. I don't think I'll be needing it since it already gave me ideas for similar stuff and I'm already working on the design for them. Still torn if I'm going to do billet or... Plenty of time to work that out.

Glad to hear you are back onboard with Shawn. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with together.

What's the deal, you on break or something?

Tin, can you repost these pics since they got dumped?

Hey RJ, how the heck are you? When are you going to get back on that Demon?

I'm still here, been super busy getting the dart ready for paint. Actually took the week off to get it done, hoping to paint on Sun ( working around the weather). The car is all sanded, tomorrow I clean out my garage, then start masking. Ran into a little glitch with the gas springs I bought for the hood, they need more force. This could potentially screw me, since the springs are hidden behind the fenders, so any work on them requires removing the fenders, don't want to do that with fresh paint. I'll post some pic's soon.

Here is a pic of the hood hinge setup, I ordered some new springs that should hold up the hood.

Hey Swiss, Shawn sent me a initial sketch, so it is in progress.

Looks good Tin, thanks for posting that.

I should be getting back on the Demon around the first of the year. thanks for asking.

Some Hack, that couldn't even get the weight right! :thebirdm:

LOL. Thats a good one.

I like it. Very nice clean install. Similar to my setup except the more modern flare. I used 70 Duster hood springs.

I worked out the formula for my trunk shocks. Took a while but like you said if you screw up they are not too too expensive from the place you got them.

NOW LETS SEE SOME PAINT

Sorry for the tease Guy's but it looks like the paint will have to wait for the spring. The weather has gotten colder here, so I think I will move on to getting some other stuff done, like getting it running.

Tin absurd build I am in awe. If my car turns out half as nice as yours I will be happy. Don't sweat the paint get her running shake her down then lay that cool green on her.

You can't rush quality work Tin :)

My whole build thread has been a big tease the last couple years. . I know I've taken two steps forward and one step back because I want to change or improve something. Enjoying your build. Hope to be back on mine soon as well. Life and weather just get in the way sometimes :-D

That's for sure Dave, This way I don't have to be paranoid around the new paint. If something happens to the primer, no big deal, just fix it and move on. I have plenty do do that will keep me busy all winter.

I just bought a 6.1 SRT 8 and trans out of a Jeep with the engine/trans harness..... just wondering what I may need to get that engine running............ any help would be greatly appreciated!
