Picked up a wiper motor core.

67 Dart 2 speed???

It seems to be frozen. I'm trying to get the outer motor shell off.

I have tried light tapping around the shell where it mates to the gear box.

Tapping down where there is a lip I can tap on.

I put some light oil on the seam (can't find my penateating spray)

I have thought about a strap wrench to get it to twist a bit. The posts partrude so I can't turn it much.

I'm thinking about some localized heat.

Thoughts?

Successes?

Sure it's not a variable or three speed? Should be some numbers you can search.

My two speed...

It's a 66 67 not a 68 up that sticks out into the engine compartment.

It has 2822963 on the housing.

Only 3 wires coming from the bulkhead connector ( looks identical to my oem 2 spd )

Same park switch, same wires.

I'll look at my pn and see if it's the same

My 67 Dart 2 spd wiper motor. Same part number.

I never understood why they changed from the worm drive to the gear drive that sticks out into the engine compartment.

The worm drive huggs the firewall

As you know, that pnn aka the 'white switch plate' motor supposedly used on '66 B bodies as well as 67 A bodies.
See if the parts book and FSMs show an exploded diagram.
Occassionally I've seen parts for sale.

Also look through posts from @moparmat2000, and maybe if he sees this he can give you some guidance.
Here's a one he took apart.

Once the bolts are out, I just use a rubber mallet if it doesn't just pop off.
