What are the biggest size tires I can fit on my stock 1972 plymouth scamp 6cyl? I've got the stock 14x5.5 steel wheels. Will the 215 70 14s rub at all? Can I go to the 225 70 14s? Or are the 205 70 14s ideal?

On a 5.5’’ rim you’re not gonna wanna go much wider than a 215 or 225 max. Also depends on the backspacing.

I’m running 235/60/14 on each corner on stock 14x6 rallye rims.

Maybe check with the search feature as this question has been asked to death.
Lots of good answers at your finger tips.

Side note: “welcome aboard.”

Additional note:
When searching the tire size, include results for '67+ Dart (not Dart Sport). Same rear wheel wells and fender openings as a Scamp.
You should be able to go 225 70 in the rear (235 may physically fit, but you're going to run into issues with speedometer calibrations); but I wouldn't go over a 215 70 in the front on stock rims at factory ride height.
