Title Company

I bought one of my resto projects on a Bill of Sale. No title.
Can anybody recommend a good reliable and reasonably priced title company to obtain a Florida title?

No, I bought the car from out of state. I can do a mechanics lein but a long drawn out process

I am not sure, the guy I bought it from is in Wisconson but he bought it from a southern state, not sure where.

Search in here, there is some company that does weird things, and gets a title. Can't remember, but think it wasn't junkyard to new. It made no sense. But it seemed to work.

Broadway title has been around for a long time. I think as long as the car wasn't purchased in the same state it is going to be titled in, you can verify certain documents, and the car has a clean/clear history (not stolen, etc) they can get you a title.

if older than 76 in Al it does not require a title. I sold a 69 GTS body to a guy in Texas and I was able to buy a tag in Al and he took the tag receipt to Texas and got it registered. At first they told me I would have to show proof of insurance before I could buy tag but after explaining to the commissioner that it didn't have an engine and would be trailered out of state he sold me a tag for one month since my renewal date was that month. Buyer took the tag receipt and bill of sale and had no problem. Each state is different though. Joe

I've used them before with success when I bought "parts cars" that did not have titles.

Yup, 1975 and earlier can be registered in AL on a bill of sale.
