I'll ask how much you guys think it's worth first, then tell you what I am able to pick it up for.

No motor or trans, originally had a 273 so it had the V8 K-member, no front seat, solid floor, 7 1/4 rear end, glass all good except for cracked windshield, grill is perfect, body is pretty decent other than the lowers and a patch spot near the hood that was started to be filled with lead. No gauges/cluster either.

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks a lot.

Kyle

It depends if you already have a parts car or if you are going to have to buy parts on the open market. I would also want to see some under carrage pictures before I would feel comfortable giving an extimate.

Are the patch panels done correctly? Looks like the wheel well has a piece missing but it may just be the angle.

I do not have a parts car to use as a donor, and the under carriage appeared rust free. I wasn't able to crawl around underneath it though. I also have a 360/727 I was going to drop in a Dart originally.

Here in California you couldn't give that car away the way things are right now. I would say $500 tops, but I would encourage you to look for a running driving project over this project. As was already said unless you have a parts car you will be in deep acquiring the parts one at a time as needed.

Oh wow, alright...had no idea it was valued that low. It was offered at $2500, the buyer said he'd lower it to $2k. Didn't think I'd be hurting that bad with it. I guess that's why I come to this site for advice.

If you had a parts car already then it would be worth more money. If I had a rust bucket then I would give $2000 for it just to save all the work and cost of fixing mine.

What would it really need other than the seats/gauge cluster and obvious new interior stuff (door panels, carpet, etc)

Why buy another mans headache ?
Save your cash, and buy something that's all there.

They are the most expensive a body to build for just plain parts.
I am comparing stock 318 cars when I say that.

I guess I'm just slightly lost on what you mean by plain parts. The way I'm looking at it now is that this would need some trim pieces, 8 3/4 rear end, disc brake conversion, new interior and paint because I've already got the engine/trans. I'm sure i'm simplifying this and making it sound easier than it is.

I guess because I've already got $3k in this engine that I feel like I need to justify putting into a car, and I don't have $10k for an already put together car. I dunno.

Not sure where you get 10g's for a car ?
I see $2000-$4000 drivable A-body's all the time.
Trust me...Take your time when buying a car. Start with the cleanest car you can find, and afford.

Maybe Barracudas are worth a lot more. If a Dart or Valiant, $700 in CA for one without any patches or significant rust. Might cost $500 to move one to OR, so that might be an upper bound, though buying something far away can add cost. What parts you currently have is irrelevant to the value of this car. I do agree that you would spend much more than you expect to collect missing parts, depending on what you want. Ex. if you are happy with used seats from a modern car, you might save $800.

Bring that car to NY can;t find them here at all..in that shape...there all junk and rotted... That car here probably worth 3 to 3500 the way it sits. Depending on other pics... and what these other folks said... not every body can buy them all ready done we have to build ours right ?? I like it

You forgot the instrument cluster. A regular a body cluster can be had for around $75.00 that is pretty nice but that Barracuda one is hard to find and will cost several hundred for just a decent one. Just finding a non broken bezel is hard to do. Take a look at this China repop and then you will get a better idea. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-67-Mop...Parts_Accessories&hash=item19d37dc0fa&vxp=mtr The 67 bezel is one year only.

When I said plain parts I was excluding cars like the Dart GTS, the 383 factory cars and the high option cars with the expensive packages.

My advise is to search the prices of the parts you will need add 25% then add that to the cost of the car and you will be close to the end amount you will put into it.Then ask yourself if that is a reasonable price you are willing to pay for a 67 barracuda,if its a good price to you go for it.If you can do the work(body, engine and suspension) it will save you atleast a grand.25% was if you do your own work if not double the price to restore.

Believe this was directed at me.Never did I say anything about a car that was already done. I build my cars.
When I said "All there" I meant exactly that.
Look for a car that is complete, engine, trans, gauges, seats, decent body, etc.

The body on this car is a hack job. It's not what does this car need, it's what doesn't this car need. It's about buying a car that is a good starting point.
IMO this car is nowhere near that.

Do what you want dude....I say Don't buy.

Where I'm at that car would bring 2K all day long. The floorboards look decent from what I could see. If the frame is solid and it looks good underneath, I would never expect to find one in that shape in MI.

It will cost you for parts, common parts will be more for the Barracuda because of what it is.

I would check the front out real good, torsion bars, where they are attached on each end etc, that car sits awful low in the front for not having an engine in it.

So what are they asking?
