Ding Ding Ding Ding. We have a winner!! You get to buy yourself breakfast. I have posted a picture before of a project my buddy is building. I was there yesterday for a visit and checking on this on going project. My buddy made a crank trigger system for this one since the blowers were in the way.

It took some "thinking" "what haven't I seen?"

I knew it was not Mopar because of the dist drive / gear setup
I wasn't sure about some sixes
At first thought maybe it was something like the experimental Olds or Ponch hemis

And then it just came to me --a guess---"what about" that damned old GMC?

Well I knew it would stump about 99% percent of everyone here. But I figured with all the knowledge here, someone would bail it. Congratulations.
 
The weird part is the rotors turn in opposite directions. Add the timing between the two sections is controlled by one of the bases. The one on the right when looking at both of them. It is adjustable by rotating.
