everything,all the time..
I like your air pan.nice job.at least someone gets to work on his car.instead of everyone elses junk
Nice work! I'll be starting on my air pan soon, think I'm going with the cake pan style.
Have you figured out how much clearance you'll have between the the plate under the air cleaner and the underside hood plate? - And are you going to further modify with tin work to fill the gap or are you thinking foam?
Being my frugal self, foam. The fully encapsulated box, would be fun.Traditional installation & mock up,then measure. Off the cuff, 2 inch should work. Only time & experience, will tell.
It'd be cool to get something similar to what Chrysler used to seal the air grabbers to their air cleaners.
Go to home depot Tim and see if maybe any of the random bits of weatherseal can be combo'd into working.
Getting closer,being on a budget,sure burns time....
Being on a budget is a way of life. When I have a couple of extra bucks, I spend them on the car before my family can think of how they need it worse than I do!
Do what you can afford. Little by little, it'll get done.
Kewl, like to see the progress :glasses7:
I was thinking of sealing my air cleaner to the hood but I still don't have a hood scoop so I guess it pulls cool air the way it is [/QUOT
What you have ,works.
