Too much carb?

I have a stock 318, I have an eddy performer intake. A buddy of mine has an eddy 1406 600cfm card and he wants to sell it, it that too much carb for that motor.

it'll work fine once tuned.

The carb should work just fine, but with the stock cam and single exhaust you won't gain much.

i drove my 71 Dart 318 with eddy performer intake and the 1406 carb...ran good..was my to and from work car...

i added headers and electronic ignition.....
