My votes for the radical Resto 340 cam every time! Unless you get like a Billet solid roller with an 800 lift you know, cuz that's always great for a 318! Especially low compression one with stock small Port heads and stock exhaust manifolds and a two barrel cast iron intake
 
how about them poly lower control arm bushings? those things are the real cat's meow i tells ya what!

My old ladies 52 years old man she's a third gen Master painter, about 128 lb, manages a Burger King, took care of me the whole time I was sick and dying, actually moved my entire workshop and my entire house because I was too sick to freaking move anything, is a blue eyed blonde, and can reach into the bed of a pickup truck, and snatch up a fully dressed Chrysler big block head, grab it, run it and put it wherever she wants it.... I love all my Brothers, don't get me wrong, but not like I do her! She's just badass! I forgot to mention she picked up the steel crank from that 440 and carried it in the house... she said it was a Lil heavy... lol

Well with that 800 lift cam I'd recommend some 2:94 gears and an 1800 stall converter. It'll run like a raped ape! How fast it'll go, and when it'll get there, I have no idea.... I honestly think the thing would barely freaking move on the interstate! Lol
