Took the 67 Dart to the track Friday.
Pump gas 92 octane street tires and steel rims.
Bad track prep but still ran some good times.
Ran these times off the juice.

Thats great, whats it run NA & how much are you spraying?

Thats all motor, haven't sprayed it yet.
We are traction limited with the tire's we have on it.

Dang. That's moving for that 60' time! Be cool to see what it does with a hooking track.

What's the combination?

Nice ET, the smack will do wonders for that thing 8) What kind of a perch is that on your axle? I've never seen one like that. I hit up the saturday night street drags with a buddy's talon and made a few bucks even tho it only got 10.80's and should do 40's-50's lol

My chassis guy is Jim Caughlin from Caughlin Performance.
He's a Engineer and national NHRA record holder in a 4 cylinder class.
He didn't like the instant center and hence the ride hight of the super stock springs.
So he welded on the spring perch's and got the ride hight and instant center where it needed to be.
1.50's 60 ft times kinda says he got it pretty close.
Street tires on a slippery track.
We had to launched the car at 2200 rpm so as not to smoke the tires.

My race car same track we would have launched at 4000 off the brake.
And not smoke the tires.

That's a pretty awesome car. Looking good.

Is that fuel cell arrangement NHRA legal? I like it.

As far as the fuel cell.
I've been teched at 3 diff NHRA tracks and not had a problem.
He doe's a lot of race car and if it wasn't I don't think he would have installed it that way.
The only thing we are cahnging is the vent tube.
I've never had it siphon the fuel out of the tank.
