Took the Duster to the Strip yesterday

Hi, guys. Just wanted to share my day at the strip. It started off good.
Got started at a good time. No problems at the strip. Ran a best of 13.35.
Packed every thing up, and started coming home, 3 hour trip. Got 2/3 rds
of the way back. Blew a tire on the Trailer. Dummy me, didn't throw in
the spare!! Called the wife to bring the spare. After a half hour, Though
we had everything coming. She gets pulled over by Wi. state trooper.
He didn't like the window tint on the front windows, no front plate ( it
was under the Mopar plate). Said the exhaust was to loud. Didn't like the
rams head tail lite covers. We got 15 days to fix it. She finely get to us
Had the wrong tire. Had to take the car off the trailer and drive it home
with the race gears in it, 4.30s. Here's the 3 uf us caravaning back the
last 50 sum miles. The only good thing the car did run good.

Sound like your having fun Brian.

I just spent the weekend driving 23 hours to Massachusetts and picked up the 73 Swinger. Some 11 hours later and I am sitting in a Michigan motel. I am working arounbd here this week then I drive the last 11 hours back home on Friday.

The car needs lots of TLC, but is a solid starting point.

I hope you made the best of the last 50 miles in the

Duster, as pleasurable as possible, goose the gas every so

often with 4-30 gears, and 4 people .. That's fun........
