Great artists there, some of my favs but list must be top sellers or voted favs. ELO is Brit ( from Birmingham ) and Tom Rush is US ( born New Hampshire ) and I always thought The Band was US but with all those artists and what they turned out, who cares where they're from.

I don't know what list you guys are looking at but I don't see any ELO or Tom Rush on that list. I do see The 5 Man Electrical Band and the band Rush though and they are Canadian. ;)

Me bad, I saw Rush and then Tom Sawyer and my dyslexic brain did some switching and arrived at one of my fav' artists. Just like I saw ELO the first time but now.............they must have changed the list between the times I looked.
 
We now have one that has been charged with kiddy diddling ..unfortunately,my thoughts are really old school for predators like him.. Sad day for Canada..

Tim Bachman, former BTO guitarist and founding membour, has been arrested and charged with Sexual Assault.

The charges stem from a claim that a woman has come forward and stated that Bachman began assaulting her at age 11 and the assaults continued until she was age 14.

Bachman,age 58 and now a realestate agent, turned himself in to Abbotsford (British Columbia) police and will begin trial on July 5th. The official charges are
“sexual interference with a person under the age of 14, sexual assault and touching a young person for a sexual purpose.”

Teenage Head is at #36 with "Picture My Face" and at #80 with “Let's Shake”/ “Somethin' On My Mind”.

I never knew that Maestro Fresh Wes was Canadian, and I was sure that Men Without Hats were Aussie, but I was wrong, they're from Montreal.

Sure are a lot of crap songs on that list though.
