I'd buy it. I think just about anything aluminum that will allow a 4-barrel is worth a C-note, with only a couple of exceptions coming to mind (SP2P & Streetmaster).

If you're on a budget...go for it.
Power band with right cam 2800-6000 plus. If you are going through run 3.55 gears on a 26 inch tire or lower and a 2500 plus converter plus, go for it. I ran one of those on a sbc 327/350 vette motor, pulled hard from 3000-6500.
Otherwise choose a dual plane intake like the Performer
