My wife's brother and step daughter went for a hell of ride in Lucedale Miss. yesterday. Scary deal and so happy they walked away!

He did a PSA on face book with the local pharmacist after getting out of the Hospital. Wear your seatbelts!

He and my Wife lost their mother 2 years ago to cancer. They both have new outlooks on life!

That had to be terrifying. Picked them up and slammed em down. Amazing that they are okay.

Seat Belts saved their lives!

Yeah well......that truck cab had a hand in it too. Look how well it held up. That's pretty dang good. Glad they didn't get hurt.

Probably not. The vehicle has to be hit really hard in the front or rear.
It should have side curtain bags too. Roll over sensors. Who knows what that truck went through but I think the bags should have deployed.

Dang, so glad they survived. Good ole American steel.

They will have a story to tell.

All I know watching the FaceBook PSA post is they were hanging upside down at the end of it by the seat belts. If I can discuss with him I will ask about the airbags. Wife is very upset no one called her. They have been mostly distant for many years short of their mother passing 2 years ago and only have met and talked with him once for a few days after 22 years of marriage to his sister. I thought since the mother passing we would be closer but it has not been that way. He is a Iraq/Afghanistan Vet and active Miss guard. My family is much closer!

Yeah it looks like a pretty late model.

So lucky to be able to walk away from that. It only last 10-15 seconds or least the F-5 tornado I went through did. Just not their time to go.

The last time we were going thru MS there were tornado warnings out. Told my wife to watch for flying trailers. Raining like hell. It was one miserable drive. Driving thru that at night is worse. You can’t see what’s about to kick your butt.

Glad they are ok. I am sure somebody somewhere is going to be doing an LS swap with that one.
