I just picked up a van. 360 727. I am wondering if there is a way to tell if I have the wrong torque converter. It has a pretty serious vibration at idle. And it gets worse off idle...

360 torque converters have weights spot welded to them(externally balanced).318 converters have no weights visible on it.

Also look at the other end, harmonic balancer?
