I am swapping in a 360 into my 74 dart. Currently a 318. Can I use the same torque converter

Yes, if you have the weighted flexplate.

If you have an A904 you can use the B&M 10239 flexplate, or weld the proper weights on the convertor for the 360 balance- DC/MP used to offer the kit and template, should be able to find the particulars with a search.
And when you say "360", I'm assuming you mean an LA360 and not a Magnum 5.9- two different animals with different requirements.
