I am swaping a fresh slant six into a 69 dart and the torque converter doesnt mate up with crankshaft in the rebuilt slant six. The new motor is pre 1968 and has the smaller 1.960 diameter register crankshaft. The converter i have is for a 2.160 diameter register crankshaft. Does anyone know who sells torquue converters for pre 1968 slant sixes wih the small pilot shaft.

slantsix.org --has articles on this -- continental convertors is one place I remember reading-- tflite patty could also help you -- good luck L

u need an ealy converter and a late coverter and cut the 2 in half and weld 2 halves together...last 1 i did cost $75 at a tranny shop that does converters
