torsion bar question

I installed "383" torsion bars on my 73 scamp awhile ago, and I don't remember seeing any markings that said right or left. how can I tell which torsion bar is which ?

I BELIEVE there should be an L or R on the end of the bars. Or paint. If I recall. I could be wrong. I'm an engine guy, not a suspension guy.

Yes on the end it will be marked with a L and the other a R.

None of mine are marked as such. They have even and odd numbers. The odd number goes to driver's side. Front to rear does not matter.

I think its odd number to the drivers side, numbered ends to the rear of the car.

They should be marked L and R. If not. Chrysler numbers are always as such, odd numbers to the left even numbers to the right.
