Just installed the 4 link air ride on my 64 valiant and would like to ditch the torsion bars to relieve some header clearance issues. I know the front end needs reinforcement to do this and I am wondering if anyone has installed the forward strut kit on www.magnumforceracing.com. Will this allow me to ditch the torsion bars?

Still looking for some direction on supporting the front end when removing torsion bars. I'm sure someone has installed a coil over system and removed the torsion bars. Anyone?

A couple of different ways. There is another one by alterKtion or somthing like that. And if you do a search for k member or torsion bar you should find a couple of debates about what is best. Myself don't like the magnum one that uses the shock mount to support the front end. But they have several available now from them.

I just found out the 7000 series Air ride wont support the front end without the torsion bars. I guess I will never get rid of them.
