Torsion bar replacement

I took the 225 out of my 67 Valiant and am putting in a heavier motor. I got a set of bigger torsion bars for it and they are marked L and R. I assume they should must put on in a particular way. If they are marked for left and right, which way would that be?-while I'm sitting in the car or looking at it from the front?

If your sitting in the drivers seat left is left, right is right.
