torsion bars: 35.75" long ?

i am in the process of installing my front suspension and decided to measure my torsion bars to make sure that they are for my 1972 dart. upon measuring, i realized that they are only 35.75" long.. UH OH.. my manual states that the dart's bars should be 38.5" long. wtf !? what are these bars from and how will they affect my ride???

What are the 3 numbers stamped on 1 end of the bars??

A body bars should be 35.8 or close enough to the 35.75 you measured. Might be an error in the print.

I have no idea what would run a 38.5 bar. What's the hex end size. A B and E body use a 1.25"
