On my 69 Dart, I've swapped out the 6 cyl. K member for a later (74)V8 K member, Now I'm going to replace the torsion bars with the V8 ones , I know which is left and right , but is there a front and rear to them or does it matter how they go in? Thnaks for any info.

There is no front or rear to them as far as I am aware. I've replaced the stock ones in my '71 Dart GT which came originally with a 318 with big block torsion bars and it made a real difference in the handling. After I was all finished with the height adjustment I had the front end aligned and it's been great.

Im very new to this sort of thing. I found after taking mine out that for some reason they go through the frame work under floor easier one way then the other.........Not sure if its a bit different in size or not. Just trying to help out.

If new, doesn't matter; if used, does matter. Front to front, same side.
