Got a Sure-grip with a 3.55 gear looking to trade "Locally" for a 3.23 sure-grip in good working order. Was working fine when pulled and put on shelf, I went with 3.91's. Now I went turbo so I need the 3.23. I will need to go pull it off the shelf to see what case but it is definitely a sure-grip!

Sent you a PM.

What are you doing with the 3.91?

I've got a 3.23 (or two), but I'm not even close to local. LOL

I will give it a Good cleaning before I let it go! Its been on a shelf for a LONG time.

What are you doing with the 3.91?

I swapped it to my pops for the 3.55 but I can ask him what he is doing with it.... He is using 4.56's in his Duster and I don't see him using it. It is still in my Cuda at this time.

Guys,
I would like to say that these 741's are just as strong as the 742 and 489 cases. The pinion is slightly smaller but it is Still bigger than a Furd 9" pinion and everyone uses them for racing!!
I have a 741 with 3.91's in it in the Cuda and it held up to the 500+hp of my 440 6 pack setup. I personally have never seen a failure of a pinion in any 8.75 rearend. Jus' sayn"
