need a couple tie down rings to mount to the under side bumper mount. whats everyone using ?

No picture. people have different ways of securing their cars. Last thing you want to do is tie to a strut. I thought someone may have a good set up.

I guess I'm just "old" LOL. I still thread a chain around the LCA, and usually around the rear leaf in front of the axle. Years ago, when I hauled my 64, I left the brake tubes "bent up" near the springs so I could thread a chain over the axle.

I recently bought some fancy ratchet straps but have not used 'em much, and bought some tire baskets, but some of the rigs I've hauled there's no good way to use them, IE the fenders, etc gets in the road of using the baskets. I HAVE added more tie down eyes to the trailer.

I'm using straps also . Usually wrap strap around axle and hook to K frame in front. I'm going to come up with something better in the front.

Don't tie to the bumper, frame or anything else that bounces. It will either break the strap or bend something. Tie to normal ground contact like the axle or k-frame. I know its a pain but, that's what you need to do.

My buddy and I share a trailer he does the four-wheel-drive thing and uses chains over his axels width binding. I use the tire baskets on the Duster actually I use them on the back tires they won't fit on the front tires and used straps going through the front Rims forward.

I put the axle straps around the lower control arms in the front and around the axle ends on the rear..

Thanks . I have done all of the above at one time or another. Rear axle is a gimmie , most everyone straps to the axle. The front end I usually go to the K frame.
I'm not too worried about straps breaking that's why I'm thinking bumper support at the frame .

I used E-Track in my trailer with tire bonnets. No marks on axles or k-frame or anywhere else.View attachment 1714930874 View attachment 1714930875
