I have a pan leak and a dip stick tube leak.I have the pan gasket and on my way to get the o ring seal for the tube.My question is when she is hot and in N its low because of the leak, thats a no brainer lol,But when it is cold and in park not running it reads about 1 quart to much on the stick is right?should it read that high on the stick.

As far as I know, you check tranny fluid level idling in neutral.

The majority of what you're seeing is the result of torque converter drain back.

As mentioned, due to drainback, levels will vary. What matters is the level in neutral when the pump is doing it's thing. Some VB mods will allow pumping in park.

ok thanks, hey any tips on installing that o ring seal on my dip stick tube. Thanks Guyssssssssss

spray it with some lubricant when you stick it in. man that sounds dirty. lol

The fluid checking in low is not from torque converter drain back. It's because the pump doesn't pump anything when in park. If you look at the dipstick it says right on it you have to check the fluid in neutral. If you don't it'll check overfull.
