tranny question

I have a 88 d-100. I changed the computer now the tanny doesn't shift into the torque lock up. (like a overdrive).Otherwise it runs great. Will this mess up the tranny if it doesn't do this?

I wouldn't think so, but 'depending' [c Im no tranny expert] it will just have some slip, like most non lock up' and maybe make a hair more heat.

I wonder whats up with the computer?

I went to pull a part and bought two more computers. One worked the other didn't. So all is well. I think it ran betyter with the one that didn't lock up. F- computers I wish it didn't have the BS on it. Thanks guys, Mike
