Im trying to hook up my transmission cooler on a 73 Plymouth 904. Not to sure which where the line on the tranny go which one is the enter and exit hole not use to hooking these up. Thanks

If you are using factory lines they should only connect one way. If I'm not mistaken the line coming from the front (pump) of trans goes on the left fitting on the rad cooler, the other line should be longer and have a longer bend where it connects to the cooler, that one goes to the rear fitting on the trans(return line).

Bought a 318 engine and 904 trans thats out of a 73 barracuda. Im putting it in a 59 Plymouth belvedere. The belvedere radiator wasn't any good so i found a radiator and was gonna use a separate trans cooler. The trans lines are from the stock tranny that came with the car they seem to fit im just stuck on which line goes where thanks for the reply

It really makes no difference how you hook it up. All your doing is passing the fluid through it to cool it down.

I agree w/ fishy 68. just like the heater hoses on an un air conditioned car that doesn`t have control valves, it don`t make any diff. which way it circulates.-----------------------just mwa 2 centovos----------bob

I guess I should have clarified that in my post above. It doesn't matter which one goes where. If factory lines are being used it will most likely only fit one way as one line is longer than the other.
