In my opinion 5k could be on the high side. Maybe a couple of years ago, but not today. It looks like that car has been sitting in the grass for at least a few years, so I would be all over that underside and ensuring those framerails are OK. Sure it's a factory 340 car, but body and motor will run you at least 25-30k if you're paying someone. It sounds from your last post that you're not really looking for the resto job, but instead looking for something you can play with and enjoy sooner than later. If that is the case, you might be better off looking for and paying for a cherry body, upgrading the mechanicals, and having fun. Of course, I see them with same rose-colored glasses as you
