Hey guys, got a question:
Parts catalog shows one number for 318 fuel pump in '71-72, then another number for '73-75 and possibly later.
I bought a pump for a 1971 318, although the engine itself is a '73(I didn't think there were any differences). However the pump outlet is turned around too far toward the front of the car and is causing fitment issues with the hardlines.
The later pump has the outlet in the "proper" place, but is that the ONLY reason to have 2 different part #'s?
I know you trivia buffs will like this one, thanks for the help!
